Shears Green Junior School are looking for a committed and dynamic leader to join them as their Deputy Head Teacher.  The post is not class based but does allow for a teaching responsibility for up to 1 day per week, if required.  It involves considerable curriculum and staff leadership and the candidate should be looking to build their career towards a Head Teacher position.

We have undertaken many new curriculum initiatives which will require skilful focus to ensure their successful delivery. The right candidate will have had previous experience in school leadership at a senior level.  Knowledge and experience in Child protection would be an advantage.

If you are forward thinking and able to work within a team, able to share good practice with amazing ideas as well as being caring, innovative, approachable, with a great sense of humour, we would love to have you on our team.
