Vacancy: Office Administrator

We are seeking to appoint a suitably skilled and friendly person to the post of Office Administrator at our popular, busy school.

The vacancy is fixed term, to cover maternity leave, for 37 hours per week - 8.00am until 4.30pm. The position is for 39 weeks per year (38 weeks term time, plus 5 INSET days). Part time /job share will be considered.

The office is the centre of communications between pupils and adults, both within and outside our school. The maintenance of an accurate diary system with a proactive approach are crucial. A positive, professional outlook is essential as well as a calm, caring approach and a track record of attention to detail. 

The successful candidate should have had previous experience of working within a school environment. Excellent typing skills, knowledge of relevant computer software and a good level of education, including GCSE English and Maths, are essential. The post requires the ability to be methodical, organised and the ability to prioritise work within a busy environment.

A caring, patient and understanding approach and a good sense of humour are essential. We are seeking to appoint a 'Brent' person: someone who is enthusiastic, flexible, resourceful and full of energy!

We provide quality support and appropriate professional development.

A First Aid qualification would be advantageous.
