Westlands School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and skilled teacher to lead our well established and popular Business Studies department in the new academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who has strong, up-to-date subject knowledge, high expectations and the ability to ensure their pupils make excellent progress.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A skilled practitioner who can model exemplary practice.
  • Passionate about teaching Business Studies and the impact it can have on students’ understanding of the world.
  • A team player who will fit in well with our existing department.
  • A strategic and self-motivated leader with the drive needed to ensure the continued success of the whole department.

As a Subject Leader at Westlands, the successful candidate would work closely with our Teaching and Learning team – driving forward whole school initiatives. The successful candidate would also be invited to join the Swale Academies Trust Business Studies Network Group, giving them opportunities to work collaboratively with leaders from across our network of schools, developing innovative practice and creative ways of teaching Business.
