Design & Technology Technician

Required as soon as possible

Band 4 £17,189 - £18,059, (£14,504.08 - £15,238.18 pro rata),  per annum

37 hours per week.  Term Time plus 5 staff development days.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Design and Technologies Department. Working alongside subject teachers you will help ensure that a safe, effective and efficient technician service is delivered, including; the provision of technical advice and assistance in the classroom to support pupils and assist teaching staff with learning activities and day to day maintenance of teaching areas and equipment.

The Design and Technologies Department is committed to delivering practical and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be proficient in technical, practical and computer skills
  • The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, pupils and suppliers
  • Have the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • Be friendly and efficient
