If so, we are able to offer you the opportunity to work with our team of experienced Nursery practitioners from the start of Term 5 – April 2019. Seashells Nursery is a LA Maintained Nursery that is part of Herne Bay Infant School offering flexible pre-school education. We are sited within a purpose-built Nursery Unit, and offer provision for 2-4 year olds, including FF2, universal 15 hour & 30 hour extended entitlement.

This large thriving school is well established in the area and shares a site with Herne Bay Junior School, bounded by Kings Road and Stanley Road and enjoying a central position in the town.

The school is a 3 form entry with a nursery and there are currently 300 children on roll. There is a good staff/pupil ratio throughout the school ensuring an inclusive, creative, supportive and secure environment.

As a school committed to safeguarding children all staff members will undergo an enhanced DBS check and candidates will be assessed on their suitability to work with children.
