About the School
Please read a Letter from the Chair of Governors.
St Peter's is a small, delightful village primary school and nursery situated in a popular area of Kent. We take pride in our caring and supportive attitude to everyone at the school and aim to ensure that the continued professional development of all staff is a priority.
Our children flourish in an environment described by Ofsted as "a cross between Hogwarts and the Tardis". We have a happy team of staff who are dedicated to children's learning and providing a safe and inspiring environment for them so that they can progress and achieve their full potential.
Parents are integral to the children's progress, over time we have built up a unique relationship with the parents and they take an active part in their children's learning. We encourage close and regular contact with them and they value this relationship.
We have the benefit of an onsite nursery which assists smooth transitions through the early years and the school itself is housed in a Victorian building and the old vicarage. We have a good relationship with our local church and our curriculum and values are unpinned by a strong Christian ethos that is valued in the school and encourages a warm and inclusive environment.
