St Peter's Church of England Primary School is tucked away in the pretty village of Aylesford, near Maidstone in Kent.  Situated on the River Medway, the village began as a small settlement but has expanded quickly in recent years now with a population of around 5000.

The long history of Aylesford and the benefit of being close to much larger towns make this a popular location for house hunters.  Its close proximity to the M20 motorway means that travel around the rest of Kent and to both London and the coast is simple for commuters.

The county town of Maidstone is just a short drive away and provides plenty to do and see in the local area.  For history buffs you can visit the Maidstone Museum or Kent Life and there are plenty of opportunities for long country walks in the picturesque villages surrounding the main town.

Those after a bit of retail therapy will be spoilt for choice with the popular Fremlin Walk and the Mall providing a large array of big high street brands and the Royal Star Arcade and Union Street offering independent retailers. For foodies there is plenty of restaurants and cafes to suit any taste and in the evening Maidstone comes alive with bars and clubs.
