This is an exciting opportunity to lead a newly formed, well-motivated, enthusiastic team and to help create a new vision for our school. We are looking for someone with energy, vision and strong leadership skills.

St Peter’s is a one form entry school located in the beautiful medieval village of Aylesford; it is the heart of the community and has close links with the neighbouring Church.  Our curriculum is complemented by our faith which teaches the children to be supportive, welcoming and accepting of each other.

We can offer you small classes of well-behaved children who are very keen to learn. Six of our seven teachers started new in September 2013 and the whole staff have formed in to a dedicated, talented team. The school also benefits from a highly skilled Business Manager. The local church, governors and parents are very supportive and are keen to engage with the school’s journey.

The successful candidate must have good people skills. They must show drive, determination and a clear vision to move the school onto the next stage of its development.

Obviously you will have high expectations of children’s achievement, proven management and organisational skills and a good understanding of current educational trends.

If you feel you have these special qualities, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Our School and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
