Hildenborough is a thriving village set in the beautiful Kent countryside, located 2 miles north- west of Tonbridge and 5 miles south-east of Sevenoaks, in the borough of Tonbridge and Malling. 

Hildenborough station gives you quick access to London being just three stops to London Bridge and a very quick train journey to Sevenoaks or Tonbridge. 

The village of Hildenborough has excellent local amenities: a library, large sports ground, two dedicated children’s play areas, tennis courts and a ball court.  An active parish council and local organisations support a range of community events throughout the year and a farmers’ market is held weekly in the church centre. Residents, young and old, are actively encouraged to take care of the local environment joining together in monthly litter picking missions. 

Nearby Tonbridge is an historic market town on the River Medway. The town is suffused with history with its castle dating from Norman times and an exquisite manor house imbued with medieval and Tudor charm. 

The town also has beautiful views towards the North Downs and is a great place to live and work. It has good rail and road links to London and the Kent and Sussex coast so you can easily venture across the neighbouring counties.

Tonbridge has many sporting facilities and a national cycle route to the historic Penshurst Place which starts from the castle. Interestingly, the Tour de France passed through the town in 2007 and the Olympic double Gold Medallist Dame Kelly Holmes went to school in the town and trained at the local athletics club.

Many cultural events take place in thriving Tonbridge, held along the beautiful riverside and in and around the Castle grounds. These include the annual Arts Festival, theatrical and music productions and the annual dragon boat race for local charities.  Art exhibitions and artisan fairs take place throughout the rest of the year and there is an annual carnival and Christmas festivals.
