Key Priorities

The governors have identified the following short to medium term priorities for the newly appointed Headteacher:

School Development Plan: To build upon the outcomes of the work currently underway to deliver the aims, objectives and priorities set out in the plan for 2021/22, including working towards the school being Outstanding at its next Ofsted inspection.

Strategy: To work with governors, partners and other stakeholders to ensure that St Nicholas School continues to be well structured and properly equipped and resourced to meet strategic priorities, deliver the curriculum in an effective way, and successfully implement the School Development Plan.   

Business Management: To build upon the work already taken to develop the business management function to ensure it continues to have the proper level of skilled resources required to support the efficient and cost effective governance and administration of the school.  

Communications: To build upon the work already taken to improve the school’s processes, procedures and media for communicating with parents, carers and other stakeholders to ensure they continue to provide relevant and meaningful information quickly, accurately and interactively.
