Lynsted and Norton Primary School is a small rural primary school that was founded in 1878. The school is located in the centre of the village of Lynsted, between Faversham and Sittingbourne. 

The school is set within glorious countryside surroundings with a very supportive local community. The school’s outside space includes a playground and large field complete with nature area and a pond. We also have access to an area of native woodland just opposite the school, where the children can explore and further their learning. We are very keen to extend outdoor learning opportunities and  increase our pupils access to Forest School’s activities.

Our two Victorian buildings house four classes from Early Years to Year 6, with mixed aged classes between years 1 and 6. There have been many improvements made to the buildings in the last few years after receiving funding from successful capital bids.

These are very exciting times to be joining Lynsted and Norton Primary School as it is about to become a part of Our Community Multi Academy Trust. This brand new  Trust will be formed as a result of a merger between the Village Academy Trust and the Potential in Everyone Academy Trust.
