We are looking for someone:
  • with a proven track record in school improvement
  • with a strong understanding of the way children learn and grow no matter what barriers they may 
  • who is passionate about ensuring teachers and other staff have consistently high expectations of what each pupil can achieve, and ensuring that all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and High Needs Funding, flourish.
  • with strong pedagogical knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • who has developed a school’s curriculum
  • who has highly developed people skills and previous experience in leading teams effectively.
  • who is able to pick our and utilise key skills and strengths within their staff
  • outward facing and able to build meaningful local links
  • who is able to draw in families and the wider community to strengthen the schools place at the heart of the local community
  • think critically about inclusion and maximise opportunities for all pupils
