St Augustine’s is a popular single form entry Catholic primary school on the Kent coast.  We are proud of the efforts of our children.  By the end of the children’s journey in Year 6 they are consistently attaining results above the national averages.  More importantly, children at the school are happy, safe and enjoy being at school.  Families from Hythe and a wide surrounding area choose to entrust their children to our warm, caring and diverse school because of our strong sense of community.   Ofsted (2018) and the Archdiocese of Southwark (2015) have judged the school to be ‘good’ in all categories.  We are confident that we have the capacity to be an ‘outstanding’ school.

Built in 2005, and receiving the Royal Institute of British Architecture award, we have truly exceptional facilities set in the beautiful grounds of Brockhill Country Park in Hythe.  It is an area of outstanding natural beauty and offers lots of opportunities for forest school activities.  The classrooms are spacious, modern and enjoy sea views.  Coupled with this we are a stone’s throw from the historic High Street in Hythe.  We are fortunate to have close links with the Hythe Hub schools, including the performing arts and farm secondary school next door.
