Ashford St Mary’s CEP School is a town centre school, located in a rapidly growing town with good transport links across Kent, to London and to France.  We are part of Central Ashford Town Schools collaborations (CATS), and benefit from shared professional development opportunities and sharing of good practice amongst schools in a similar catchment.  We also access training and support from Ashford Teaching Alliance, which promotes school- to- school support. 

Ashford has a dynamic development plan to ensure the town grows in a way that suits both its existing residents and welcomes new families and investors. The town already boasts excellent leisure facilities, with the Ashford Designer Outlet, revamped County Square shopping centre, Stour Centre Leisure Centre, international standard Julie Rose Athletics Stadium, Eureka Leisure Park and Cineworld complex, a new Waitrose and John Lewis at Home store.

Outside of the town centre, Ashford has a wealth of natural heritage. Charming villages, beaches and woodland areas are waiting to be explored; while the buzz of London is just 38 minutes away by train (High Speed 1), and the glamour of Paris can be reached on Eurostar in just two hours.
