Lyminge Church of England Primary School is situated in the Elham Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is surrounded by farmland and ancient forest. The beautiful countryside surrounding the village is perfect for hiking but if you would prefer, the coast is nearby where you can take a scenic walk along the cliff tops.

Lyminge is only 5 miles away from the seaside town of Folkestone, which has recently undergone a period of regeneration and now has a host of bars and restaurants to enjoy. 

London is easily accessible in under an hour by High Speed train and there are excellent transport links to all parts of Kent including the ancient city of Canterbury. The village is close to the M20 motorway. You can also access the rest of Europe easily via Folkestone’s Euro Tunnel, providing a direct train to Calais.

Leisure time may be spent taking advantage of both country and coastal walks, weather permitting, time on the beach or, if you prefer, the Continent is 35 minutes away by Shuttle.
