Local Area

Maypole School is situated in North West Kent and borders South East London.  There are good rail links to Central London from both Dartford and Bexley.  There is a bus route that links the school to Bexley. The area is served by a major road system, i.e. the A2 and M25 with proximity to Dartford Crossing which gives easy access to the North of the Thames.

The School is in a pleasant area close to Dartford Heath and Joydens Wood.  Nearby Bexley also has attractive open spaces including Hall Place gardens and Danson Park, both of which feature Grade 1 listed buildings.
 
Nearby there are various sporting and leisure facilities.  Dartford has two live theatres and nearby Bexleyheath a multi-screen cinema.  Bluewater is only a very short drive away providing shopping, dining and other leisure opportunities.
