Are you an inspiring, innovative and dynamic leader looking for that role that will take your career to the next level?

Are you looking for a blank canvas where you can really make a difference and shape the future development of our school?

This is an exciting opportunity for a focussed and enthusiastic individual, with vision and ambition to take on the challenge as the next strategic leader at Downsview Community Primary School.

In this pivotal role you will drive forward the strategic direction, management and performance of the school ensuring it is managed and organised, working with all partners and stakeholders to develop an outstanding provision of growth and a better quality of education for our pupils.

What we offer:

We offer a supportive, experienced and an open-minded Governing body and a fantastic teaching and learning environment situated within unique school facilities and grounds.

Positioned within the heart of Swanley, we are located in a quiet private road and are fortunate enough to have plenty of outside space overlooking stunning green fields and take every opportunity to maximise the impact of this area.
More importantly, our pupils are enthusiastic, happy children who are keen to learn. The same can be said for our parents and our local community who are friendly, supportive with a real passion for the future of Downsview.

Here at Downsview, we recognise the importance of your own professional development, offering opportunities for professional development and actively supporting you to achieve a good work-life balance as you develop and implement a clear and forward-looking vision for the future of our school.

About this opportunity:

The Governing Body previously supported an executive Headteacher whilst all options were being explored in relation to the leadership route for the school. As a result, this fantastic opportunity has arisen due to the decision to retain Downsview as a standalone school in the community, with us currently being supported by a consultant Headteacher in the interim.

Downsview Community Primary School and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
