Rowhill School is based in Longfield, Kent. Longfield is classed as a civil parish and is situated between Dartford and Meopham. The parish has great transport links to nearby towns being situated on a number of A and B roads and is easily accessible to and from the rest of Kent being close to the M2, M20 and M25 motorways.

Rowhill School is also serviced well by public transport; the school is located a 16 minute walk from Longfield train station which has 3 services each hour to London Victoria via Bromley South. There are also regular bus services that run through Longfield which connects the area to Dartford, Gravesend and the Bluewater Shopping Centre.
 
Bluewater, which is around a 15 minute drive from the school, is one of Europe’s largest shopping centres with over 330 shops. Bluewater is also an entertainment hub to the local community and is home to a large selection of chain restaurants, cafes, bars, a large cinema and at Christmas there is an outside ice rink.

Longfield although is mainly a residential area, Darenth and Shorne Woods Country Park are both nearby and are approximately a 10 minute drive from the school. There are two local supermarkets in the locality, a chemist, post office, various take away outlets and a country market held on Fridays.
