North Borough Junior School is a friendly, welcoming school in the north of Maidstone, about 5 minutes from the M20.  We have a pan of 90 children, with three classes in each of the four years.

Our school is made bright and cheerful by the many displays of excellent art work, as well as each class celebrating the work of the author they are named for.  We enjoy using our library and nurture room pods in the two quads, as well as the adventure playground and our large sports field.  In class, our learning environment is enriched by interactive whiteboards, informative displays, working walls and learning stations.

We’re really proud of the wide range of cultures, languages, interests and skills represented in our school and we explore these through lots of weekly clubs, activities and competitions as well as events such as our annual language fair, Art week and STEM week.

Staff, Pupils, Governors, and Parents work hard together to be the best we can be.  Our core values of Respect, Responsibility, Compassion, Courage and Wisdom form the basis of all we do.  We have been praised for our outstanding behaviour for learning and our results make us one of the very best schools in the area.
