Archbishop Courtenay Primary School

About The School

Please read a letter from Aquila.

Archbishop Courtenay CE Primary School is tucked just outside Maidstone having moved to our current site and its wonderful, brand new buildings in since February 2012. All early years classrooms have their own, purpose-built outdoor learning environment. We are a member of Aquila, The Diocese of Canterbury Academies Trust.

We are a 1.5 form entry with a nursery class and friendly children who attend are from the local area. We work closely with our community, especially All Saints Church, and have a Friends group which helps to organise many events. PE and music specialists provide additional curriculum enrichment. Special assemblies are regularly held in the church and parents, carers and friends are always welcome to join us.

We are a friendly and growing school within the borough of Maidstone and our aim is to provide all children with a broad and balanced curriculum which will enable them to grow intellectually, creatively, physically, emotionally and socially.

Our vision is that every child should leave our school with strong moral and spiritual values, an enquiring and inquisitive mind, high expectations for themselves, tolerance and respect for others and a wide range of valuable skills.

Please read our Prospectus.
