About the School

Capel Primary School is a popular village school serving the local communities of Capel, Five Oak Green and Tudeley, and enjoys a rural setting between the towns of Tunbridge Wells, Paddock Wood and Tonbridge.
 
With single form entry, the school offers places to children from age 4 through 11 within a catchment with socio economic diversity typical of the area.

Our class rooms are spacious and well-appointed with modern teacher aids (e.g. electronic whiteboards), and there is also an ICT suite.  We are especially fortunate to enjoy our own outside areas including a sports field and netball courts.
 
Our school thrives on an ethos of mutual respect and support – and is a school where each child is encouraged to explore and grow - academically, artistically, physically and emotionally.
 
The School has made significant progress since Ofsted and our most recent SEF and LA Progress & Impact report do indicate we are now a 'Good' School.  For background, please refer to our last Ofsted Report and the HMI's Section 8 Visit Report.
