Our ideal candidate is someone who:
- Creates and communicates a compelling vision, which effectively sets the future expectations for Ashford Oaks.
- Demonstrates a secure knowledge of how assessment information is effectively used to improve the quality of planning for teaching and learning
- Secures excellent teaching through an analytical understanding of how all pupils learn (including the youngest pupils and those with SEND) and of the core features of successful classroom practice and curriculum design
- Identifies emerging talents in current and aspiring leaders, leading to clear succession planning
- Promotes positive and respectful relationships across the school community and a safe, orderly and inclusive environment
- Demonstrates a proven record of managing revenue and delegated capital budgets; exercise strategic, curriculum-led financial planning to ensure effective deployment of budgets and resources and ensure the school’s sustainability
