Aycliffe Community Primary School is a warm, inclusive school located in Dover, dedicated to making a difference to every child’s learning. Guided by our vision, “Make a Difference to Learning,” we foster values of caring, tolerance, passion, reflection, and innovation, helping pupils grow into confident, creative, and compassionate learners.

Our Grounds

Set within spacious, well-maintained grounds, Aycliffe offers children a safe and stimulating environment.

Our facilities include:

• A modern, child-friendly playground.
• A dedicated outdoor learning classroom for hands-on exploration.
• Plans for a fully accredited Forest School and a thriving garden, encouraging environmental awareness and outdoor education.

 Our Curriculum

We deliver a broad and balanced curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum, enriched by our ethos as a UNICEF Rights Respecting School (Gold Award). Our approach combines:

• Thematic, project-based learning to embed core values and British values.
• Strong foundations in literacy and numeracy with daily reading, writing, and maths.
• Subject enrichment in science, humanities, arts, and modern foreign languages, ensuring pupils develop knowledge, skills, and cultural understanding.

A focus on learning language words like: resilience, perseverance, and collaboration, helping children reflect on and drive their own learning.
