After 24 successful and fulfilling years the current Head teacher is retiring therefore the Governors of Singlewell Primary School are looking to appoint an inspirational leader to continue to drive the school forwards and into our next chapter. 

Judged by Ofsted in 2023 as a good school, we are an increasingly popular choice for parents within our community. We are seeking someone who has a proven track record of success and an individual who has an absolute belief in the potential of all children.

We have a committed and talented team of staff who develop caring, independent pupils with a positive attitude to learning in a safe, stimulating school. We strive to empower them to recognise and unlock their full potential, fostering an environment of respect and compassion that positively shapes their lives and the lives of others.

Governors are seeking an exceptional candidate with: 
• A high level of motivation to match that of pupils, staff, parents and governors.
• The ability to inspire, lead and support a highly committed team of teaching and associate staff through an empowering and nurturing management approach.
• The energy and ambition to further develop our creative and innovative curriculum and to continue to improve the quality of education for all pupils.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong, approachable and supportive leadership and management style, building positive relationships within the school and wider community.
• A deep understanding of inclusion across the primary phase to enable all children to realise their potential in a caring and understanding community.
