The Ifield School
Ifield is a Foundation District Special School for pupils with profound, severe and complex learning needs and communication and interaction difficulties from age four to nineteen. We have a dynamic and innovative staff who work closely with pupils to create an ethos of care, respect and success. Inclusion is one of our priorities and this is achieved through our outreach, resources and training centre, Ifield SMILE.
In May 2018 Ofsted judged Ifield as an Outstanding school.
Ifield was designated a National Teaching School in September 2014 and is committed to the development of the Thames Teaching Alliance.
Ifield School is one of the founding members of KSENT, a Co-operative Trust for Kent Special Schools.
In September 2015, Ifield School federated with Kings Farm Primary School under one Governing Body known as the Cedar Federation.
Ifield School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service and check against the ISA Barred List for children.
