Teacher of Religious Education and Humanities

The Cornwallis Academy is a high performing Academy, with an 81% A-C pass rate at GCSE and 64% A-C pass rate at A-Level. Brand new facilities will be put in place when the Academy is rebuilt in September 2010. With a great emphasis on ICT, personalised learning and the use of Emotional Intelligence, we pride ourselves on being innovative and cutting edge. Consequently, we are looking to recruit innovative, motivated and enthusiastic people who are willing to engage in changing the face of education.

An enthusiastic and innovative teacher is required to join our already established team in this successful department. You will be required to teach Religious Education through Humanities at Key Stages 3 and Religious Education at Key Stage 4. This post would be suitable for NQTs or more experienced teachers.

Cornwallis Academy is a ‘Good’ school on the outskirts of Loose, Maidstone with over 1300 students on roll aged 11 to 18. Cornwallis’ aim is to provide all students with the best educational provision.
