Woodlands Primary School, north Tonbridge is looking to appoint an experienced, hard working and reliable person who would like to be part of a busy and supportive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safety and security of the whole site. This position will suit someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys the challenge of a school environment. Experience within a similar position is desirable.

  • A permanent full-time position, 52 weeks per annum
  • 37 hours per week, five days, Monday to Friday
  • Hours: Monday to Thursday - 10.00am to 6.30pm.
  • Hours: Friday -10.00am to 6.00pm.
  • One hour unpaid lunch break
  • Salary -  Kent Range 5 (£19,723.00)
  • Minimum 24 days holiday
  • Start date asap

The Site Manager plays a critical role in the day-to-day running of the premises and will be able to work cooperatively with all members of the school community to ensure high standards are maintained at all times. 

The successful candidate will possess skills in managing a site team and be able to prioritise using own initiative when handling day to day matters. There will need to be a degree of flexibility around key events in the school calendar e.g: parents evenings, school fairs etc. For further details, please refer to the attached Site Manager Job Description.

The successful candidate will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS check prior to employment start date.

Information about the school

Woodlands Primary School was formed in September 2016 following the amalgamation of Woodlands Infant and Woodlands Junior Schools. We are a successful and happy school in North Tonbridge. Currently we have approximately 600 pupils on roll, organised into three classes per year group across three buildings: Saplings (EYFS), Acorn (KS1) and Oak (KS2). Our enthusiastic and dedicated staff work strongly together to provide exciting learning experiences for the children both inside and outside the classroom.
