We are looking to appoint a friendly and dedicated administrator who can support the Office Manager in providing an effective administration service. 

We are seeking someone dynamic, self-motivated and resourceful. The successful candidate will have:

  • The ability to work on their own initiative and have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • A reactive manner and be able to meet tight deadlines
  • Be an effective team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good telephone manner
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and data protection regulations
  • Flexibility, a willingness to support others and a good sense of humour
  • Willingness to undertake First Aid Training

A knowledge and understanding of schools' computer systems, in particular SIMS is desirable, although not essential, as training will be provided.

The post is for 14 hours per week (30 mins lunch break) 8.30am to 4.00pm Thursday and Friday, term time only.

Information about the school

Riverhead is a three form intake infant school on the outskirts of the town of Sevenoaks. Our eco-friendly sedum-roofed building is set in beautiful grounds enabling our pupils to enjoy their learning both indoors and out. We have received numerous awards for our excellent practice including the School Award for Resilience and Wellbeing and Platinum Award for our OPAL. Our school is over-subscribed and well supported by parents and the local community.
