We are looking for an outstanding experienced teacher who will help us to maintain our excellent practice in Lower KS2.

We are seeking to appoint an energetic, highly motivated, dynamic and forward thinking teacher who places children at the centre of school life with high expectations of pupil's achievement and behaviour, ensuring every child achieves their full potential.

We are a 2 form entry school with 420 children on roll. We work in teams across the school; Key Stages EYFS, and KS1, Lower KS2 and Upper KS2, managed and led by our Team Leaders.

Information about the school

Kingsnorth CE Primary School is an exciting and vibrant place to learn and develop. We were judged as outstanding in our SIAMS. In our most recent OFSTED as a ‘Good School’.

We are also one of 34 English Hub school’s across the country. We are an active and leading school within Aquila (The Diocese of Canterbury Academies Trust - www.diocant-aquila.org). We work in strong partnership with other schools across Ashford, South Kent and beyond, providing support and learning opportunities for our staff.

We are a flag ship school for the Inclusion Quality Mark and are extending this by working with Nurture UK to further develop our provision as we understand that all behaviour is communication. We have recently been successful in being awarded the Leading Parent Partnership Award and the Wellbeing Award. We are also very proud of our Outdoor Learning/Forest school provision which we are incorporating with our OPaL (Outdoor Learning and Play) scheme.

We are situated next to the church in the heart of Kingsnorth village, south of Ashford. We are a large 2 form entry school with 420 children on roll. We have strong links with the local Church and Community. Our supportive Governing Body and active PFA play key roles in school life.
