Family Liaison Officer

This role is 32.5 hours per week, 08:30am to 4pm Mon- Fri, with an unpaid 1hr lunch-break, term time only (38 weeks) per year

The salary for this role is TDET Band 6, point 17 to 20. Actual salary £16,190-£17,449 per annum, including holiday pay (pro rata to £20,893-£22,918 per annum all year round).

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Inclusion, we are looking for a person with:

  • Exemplary interpersonal, communication and planning skills
  • A team player; able to positively influence senior leaders and colleagues
  • An experienced problem solver who has worked alongside families
  • Sensitivity, tact and discretion in difficult situations
  • Track record of a child-focussed approach
  • Experience of Safeguarding in schools
