Salary Scale: Pilgrims’ Way Primary School (£25,714-£36,961)

 (Year 1 Class Teacher Temporary for 12 months)

The post is a temporary contract ideally from Term 4 2022 or Term 5 2022 in a Year 1 class.  Pilgrims’ Way is currently expanding and as such, there is potential of this post being extended for the right candidate. In your role as class teacher at Pilgrims’ Way Primary School, we ask you to inspire children, celebrate success, embrace learning and uphold our school values - Respect, Aspire, Positive, Resilient and Success.

Our school has been part of the Veritas Multi Academy Trust since May 2018. Ofsted report September 2022 rates our school as GOOD with an OUTSTANDING Early Years. Our irresistible curriculum and inclusive ethos ensures that all children achieve their potential.

The school is situated in the beautiful city of Canterbury, benefitting from many excellent cultural opportunities. We have wonderful grounds, including a forest school. Learning outside the classroom is a school priority.

We are on an exciting journey to rebuild our school and are working with the Department for Education on a new build project.
