37 hours per week (5 days – full time)

Term time only - 39 wks per year (including Staff Development Days)

Thamesview Pay Scale Range 4, Point 9 – Point 12

£18,492 - £19,624 per annum

Pro rata £15,906.82 - £16,880.56

PERMANENT ROLE – REQUIRED TO START ASAP

 

A professional and adaptable person is required to work in the school reception area as a main point of contact for students, staff, parents and visitors, ensuring the smooth running of this area and the associated administration services.

 

Duties include: manning the reception desk and telephone switchboard; word processing school documents and overseeing reprographics; promoting the school in a positive manner at all times; and supporting colleagues in improving the quality provision for teaching and learning through efficient and affective administration support.

 

A confident and professional attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of IT literacy with experience of Microsoft packages and SIMS.net database are required. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.

 

Experience in a similar role would be beneficial. This vacancy has been created by an internal promotion and therefore support and training from the predecessor will be available.
