 About us:

We are an average sized Church of England voluntary controlled primary school with 334 pupils on roll. We currently have two Reception Classes who work in a large inside and outside area with a flexible open plan space. After choosing to split our 45 pupils into year groups classes to help address learning lost by the pandemic we have 4 small KS1 classes. Pupils Key Stage 2 are taught in mixed-age classes allowing the perfect opportunity for collaborative learning and teaching. The school has a nurture class plus a resourced provision, called SLIC@Langafel (Socialise Learn Interact Communicate), for pupils who are diagnosed as having autistic spectrum disorder. There are currently 27 children in the provision who are taught in three classes, many of which also attend mainstream lessons. We work closely with parents, stakeholders, the local community and Church to ensure our children have the best opportunity to thrive.
