We are seeking to appoint a Forest School Leader who is a motivated and enthusiastic professional. We would expect the suitable candidate to be able to provide a weekly, 2 hour 15 minute session for each class, and also sessions for another school, should the opportunity arise. Swingate Primary School has a friendly and supportive staff ready to welcome you to our school team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be calm
  • Enjoy working with children
  • Have a high level of education with a Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Have a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in leading Forest School
  • Be able to model good spoken English
  • Be flexible and able to multi-task
  • Be prepared to work alongside our staffing team to fully integrate Forest school within our curriculum: building on progression from Nursery to Year 6.

 

 

The post is for 10 hours 45 minutes a week (Monday-Friday) and term-time only 1pm -3.15pm daily. The pay scale is NJC C2 range 12 - 25 (£22183-£29577, which equates to approximately £5995-£7993 pro rata per annum for this role.
