We are looking for a caring, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistant with experience of working with children in a primary school.

You will be required to bring energy and patience to the role, which involves providing 1:1 and small group support. You will support the child/children with their educational, behavioural, emotional and social development.

The successful candidate will hold qualifications in English and maths at GCSE grade C or above. They will need to be able to work using their own initiative, be self-motivated, well-organised, flexible, patient and a good communicator.

You will be joining a friendly and dedicated team who are committed to providing every child with the support and opportunities they need to progress in their learning.

This is a term time temporary contract linked to high needs funding.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.40am - 3.20 pm. Term time only.

The hours include lunchtime supervision for half an hour each day (allowing for a half hour lunch break).

(Hours may need to be adjusted in line with staggered start and finish times).
