Invigilators

Flexible Hours: As required

The school is looking to recruit Invigilators for the coming exam season and on an ongoing basis. Experience is not necessary as training will be given.

The school is also looking to appoint a Lead Invigilator who will take a greater role in the running of examinations, and must thus be confident in giving instructions to students and other invigilators, as well as making decisions autonomously. A higher hourly rate is payable for this position.

The ability to work in a team, under direction, and to communicate effectively are essential. 

Invigilators will be required to conduct examinations in accordance with the JCQ and the school’s instructions and will play a key role in upholding the integrity of the examination process. Reading and scribing experience is desirable however a willingness to be trained in these areas is acceptable.

 

Please note that invigilators are required to stand and move around the exam venue for up to 3 hours.
