St Mark's primary school is a 'good' school located at the edge of Tunbridge Wells. We are seeking to appoint a new School Business Manager.

Start date 19th April 2022

Term time only plus 2 weeks

Grade – KR10 (pro-rata 41 weeks per year)

Salary - dependent on experience (Kr10 range £34 351 - £40 405 to be pro rata'd)

Hours - 8.45 am to 4.30pm (1/2 hour lunch)

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the strategy and operation of the school's business functions, including financial management, income generation, health and safety, human resources, compliance and administration - co-ordinating on and implementing the day-to-day support that enables the school to operate effectively and efficiently. 

They will be based in the school office managing a small team of support staff and will be on the Senior Leadership team.

Information about the school

St Marks CE Primary is a two form entry school set in large grounds on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells. Class sizes vary from 20 - 30 pupils, with a maximum of 30 children permitted in each class.

An extensive building and refurbishment programme was completed in July 2015, providing superb new facilities for the children.

We were rated Good by Ofsted in July 2022, and we have strong links with our local church St Marks, Broadwater. The school has a strong Christian ethos and in December 2019 we had our SIAMS inspection and were judged as Good.
