Your chance to be part of a brand new academy! We very recently opened our doors to our founding Year 7 students in September 2021 and we now have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Curriculum Lead - Maths, starting in September 2022. 

We are seeking to appoint a full time Curriculum Lead - Maths who can deliver high quality learning opportunities for our students in Maths. As the Maths Lead, you will have whole-academy responsibility for this subject area and will develop and review the Maths mastery curriculum on offer at Leigh Academy Rainham, leading on the Academy’s Numeracy Strategy. Applications are welcomed from experienced outstanding teachers who are seeking to take on extra responsibility. As a start-up school this role will grow as our numbers increase, with the possibility of promotion to a Director of Learning position for the right candidate in the future. The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis with a TLR of £2,873.

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2022, our Trust comprises 31 geographically organised academies (15 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing 3,000 talented staff.
