Kent Range 3 pro rata

16.5 hours a week from 8.45-12pm (an additional 15 minutes to be advised).  Term time- Temporary contract. 

This role is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Hollingbourne team. We need a calm and patient teaching assistant to join us in KS1 to support a child with High Needs Funding. 

We will need you to be:

  • Someone who has experience of working with children (ideally in a school setting)
  • Knowledge and understanding of SEND
  • Able to work proactively and flexibly
  • Reliable and committed to the wider life of the school.
  • A team player who is also able to work on own initiative when required
  • A clear communicator with adults and children alike
  • A positive role model to all

Information about the school

Hollingbourne is a small, delightful, friendly, village school nestled in the North Downs. It boasts 100 lovely children aged 4 to 11 years.

We have a committed and enthusiastic staff who are determined to enable every child to reach their potential, providing them with a stable, caring environment in which they and are stimulated and keen to learn.

The main building is Victorian with later additions of an Early Years block and a modern school hall. We have access to both a school playground and a large field which the children are encouraged to make the most of.
