Advert

We are excited to announce that we are looking to recruit a talented and dynamic Catholic Deputy Headteacher from Sept 2022 or sooner if possible.

Can you keep your head and smile when all about you are losing theirs?

Are you a practising Catholic looking to take a lead role in a Catholic school?

Are you someone who embraces challenge and constantly strives to improve performance through inspiring and leading others?

Can you contribute to the growth and development of our very successful school?

If yes, you could be the treasure we are seeking.

The role involves some teaching committment.

If you fit our requirements, you will find a warm welcome and an ever-ready cup of tea awaiting you at St.Teresa’s.

We are a single form entry primary school with 215 pupils located on a very pleasant and spacious site close to Ashford town centre and the M20. We are part of the Kent Catholic Schools Partnership multi-academy trust, one of the largest and most successful academy chains currently operating.  We achieved a very strong good in both our Section 8 OFSTED in Jan 2020 and in our Denominational Inspection in March 2020. Please take time to read our very positive reports.

We enjoy a well-established relationship with the wider parish. We are proud of our inclusive, Catholic ethos and benefit from strong, mutually supportive links with the local community, church and parents.

Our confident and engaging children are key to the welcoming family atmosphere you will find at our oversubscribed school. Our parents care deeply about their children’s education. You will be supported by a Governing Body which is committed to your professional development. In return we ask that you share our vision and our passion for delivering the highest possible learning experiences for our children.

St.Teresa’s has a reputation for high standards and is looking for a team player who wants to work as part of a vibrant, purposeful staff team. We pride ourselves on our hardworking and passionate team who are dedicated to the excellence of our school and the educational experience of our pupils. You will be a role model for other staff in this respect.

We will ensure that your leadership skills are well supported and nurtured in your role as our Deputy Headteacher and we can offer experience across many aspects of school life.

If you feel you have the drive and courage to bring fresh and successful ideas to our school, we would love to hear from you. The application form should be downloaded from Kent Teach and emailed to the school office at   Corinne.Nixon@st-teresas-ashford.kcsp.org.uk

To gain a better appreciation of our school, prior to making an application, visits are positively encouraged.
