1:1 Teaching Assistant

25 hours (Term Time) Temporary Contract

Required – January 2022 start

 

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, friendly and talented Teaching Assistant to join our supportive teaching team to work in lower Key Stage 2.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to children’s development. You will be working in the classroom and implementing programmes of support designed specifically to meet pupils’ needs.   

Our ideal candidate will be an energetic and confident team player who is able to demonstrate previous success working with special needs pupils in either a mainstream or specialist setting. You should also be able to evidence using your own initiative to support successful inclusion. You will have good behaviour management skills balanced with a calm and friendly manner. 

If you are passionate about developing the best possible learning environment and the highest standards of learning, are kind and patient with a desire to develop an excellent rapport with children & adults we would love to hear from you. A Teaching Assistant qualification of NVQ 1 or equivalent would be preferable.
