Are you an enthusiastic, flexible and caring individual looking to join our school community?

We are looking for someone who will be able to join us as a SEN Teaching Assistant which will be a temporary contract in the first instance. This position is linked to supporting children who have high needs funding.

We are a small, rural school who know our children and strive to give them the skills, confidence and experiences so that they can 'live life in all its fullness.' (John 10:10)

Our school values of care, learn and forgive are seen in all we do as teachers and in our pupils. We truly care about all of our community and look after each other. We strive to provide the best learning possible. We forgive and encourage mistakes.

This role is for 6 hours a day, 5 days a week and the working hours will be from 9am - 3.30pm; which includes 30 minutes midday meal supervision.

If you would like to discuss the opportunity or visit please contact the office@platt.kent.sch.uk.

Information about the school

We are a small community church school made up of 160 kind, motivated and excited learners. Our Christian values of care, learn and forgive are felt throughout our school and we keep central to all we do. Our children are confident and proud of their school and belonging to it. We believe education should not only equip children academically and emotionally but provide memories and shape our children to 'live life in all its fullness'; (John 10:10).

We are a staff team who support and encourage each other's development to ensure that the children have the best education they can whilst they are with us. We welcome new ideas and approaches into our school. We believe in implementing change through coaching and team development, empowering us all to achieve more.

We have just moved into our beautiful new school building and you will now be part of growing our site and our learning community. We have dedicated space for groups, interventions and we hope to build on this provision.
