Information about the school

Little Acorns School provides a therapeutic education for children with a range of needs. Each child receives an individual learning plan and separate therapeutic support plan.

We currently have 8 pupils on roll, some residing at the care home on site whilst others travel in as day pupils. We are increasing the number on roll in the new year to 14 pupils, hence the need to increase the size of the fantastic team already working at Little Acorns School.

Little Acorns welcomes children with a range of needs including ASD, AHDH and ODD. We also work closely with the care home supporting LAC who have had troubled upbringings and suffered trauma in their early years.

Our curriculum is ambitious for all our pupils. Our school aims to ensure pupils journeys through school are positive ones.

Our school is committed to safeguarding pupils and staff. Our staff recruitment policies and practices comply with safe recruitment and selection requirements. We always ensure clearance of enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) prior to employment. We look forward to hearing from you.
