We have an exciting opportunity for you to come and join TKAT as an SEN and Family Assistant at Salmestone Primary School in Thanet. The SEN and Family Assistant, takes responsibility under the direction of the Inclusion Manager and Deputy Headteacher for the support and provision for both children and families. 

 

The interview will have three components. There will be a practical task in which you will be observed leading a small group of children. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your interaction, bonding, engagement strategies and listening skills whilst carrying out some simple well-being activities of your choice for 20 minutes.

This will be followed by a presentation of an area of SEN, lasting approximately 20 minutes. A formal interview will follow.

Salmestone Primary and Nursery School became an academy within The Kemnal Academies Trust in September 2012. It was identified as a GOOD school by Ofsted in January 2019.
