Hours: 32.5 per week  term time only (39 weeks per year) 

Actual Salary £13,920.44 per annum 

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to support our Design Technology and Art departments as a Technician.  The post would be equally suitable for an experienced technician or for an individual with a qualification in Design Technology and/or Art.  The ability to work and communicate with a range of people at all levels, as well as the students is essential.  The successful applicant will be flexible, pro-active in adapting to change, creative and practical.  You will need excellent knowledge of IT packages and experience in Photo Shop would be highly desirable. You will be required to undertake a wide range of tasks across all three areas of the department.  

The Abbey School is a highly successful, forward thinking school with over 200 staff. Ofsted in February 2017 graded the school Good in all areas. They noted several strengths including “strong leadership, the quality of teaching, improving exam results, a vibrant sixth form, good behaviour, and an excellent level of care and safety”.
