We wish to appoint an excellent and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team for January 2021. We are looking for a TA with flexibility, experience in learning support and the ability to contribute to our school’s community and vision. The successful applicant will be sensitive to children’s varying needs, but be able to work under the guidance of the teaching team, SENCo and Leadership Team. Please note that this is a temporary post due to maternity cover.

Applicants should preferably be qualified to NVQ Level 2, and have some knowledge of the development and learning styles of children and special educational needs. A knowledge of and experience of techniques and resources for working with pupils with speech and language needs and ASD would be preferable.

The TA will be initially based in our EYFS Rainbow class and will cover lunch duty. The post will be for 31.25 hours a week. You will be providing support to groups of children within the classroom as well as 1:1 support for individual children.
