We have a temporary vacancy, to cover Maternity leave, for a Nursery Assistant who is caring, committed and can relate to both children and adults, but most importantly be able to work as part of a team. This position is for 30.0 hours per week, Monday to Friday, school term time only.

A childcare qualification level 3 e.g. NVQ, CACHE Diploma, BTEC National Diploma is essential, and applicants should have at least one year's paid/unpaid experience of working with children from 2 - 5 years old. A high standard of care for the children attending the Nursery is required, and you should be competent in preparing assessment and development records. Additionally you must be able to show an understanding of the importance of treating information and matters relating to work within the Nursery as confidential. A current paediatrics first aid certificate would also be desirable.
