We are looking for a level 3 qualified Forest School leader to join our established Forest School team. The applicant must have been trained in all aspects of Forest school including first aid, fire safety and other outdoor activities. 

The post is for 3 afternoons per week from 11:30 to 3:30. The Forest school site is within the school grounds. Groups from Year 1-6 go out on a rota basis throughout the year. The applicant will need to have experience of working with children of different ages and be a good communicator.

Information about the school

Teynham is a semi rural location with good transport links (both bus and train). Currently we have 200 pupils in seven classes. The school has spacious school grounds, including playgrounds, sports field, wellbeing area and environmental areas, including a Forest School. We also have an ICT suite and purpose built meeting room. We have strong links with the Pre-school (situated on site) and local church. We work as a team supporting each other and ensuring that we do the best for our children. The school is undergoing an exciting transformation and a new build, with expansion to two form entry, is planned for September 2025.
