We are looking to appoint a high performing, full time teaching assistant who has experience of working with children with learning needs in Key Stage One.

Start date: November 2021

You will have experience of supporting a wide range of needs and a clear understanding of how to inspire and motivate children to achieve their targets. You will also have a good standard of education (equivalent to GCSE grade 'C' in at least English and maths) and a clear understanding of how to support and challenge pupils with moderate learning difficulties. 

The role requires:

  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • A passion for improving the life chances of children who can find education a challenge
  • Experience of working in a whole class setting as well as providing one to one support to children with a range of special educational needs
  • A caring, patient and understanding approach
  • You to be nurturing and resilient, having the best interests of the child at heart
