Walderslade Girls’ School, part of the Skills for Life Trust, is a vibrant and high performing all girls High School with a strong community spirit and an ethos of inclusion, supporting learners of all abilities. 

This is an all-girls secondary academy in Medway with a large joint sixth form in partnership with the neighbouring boys’ school. You will work alongside a strong and motivated team, who are committed to ensuring that our pupils make outstanding progress.

We require a conscientious person to work within the Pastoral Team to support our students by providing high quality interventions to ensure well-being and pastoral needs are met.  The successful applicant will also work as part of the Safeguarding Team to ensure children and young people are safe from harm. 

 

Experience of working with children of relevant age and an understanding of principles of child development and learning processes and in particular, barriers to learning would be beneficial.

We are an ambitious organisation of 10 schools, serving the educational needs of nearly 7,000 children and young people aged 3 to 19.

Our academies are based in a tight geographical area drawing students and employees from Kent and Medway in the South East of England.
